(HBO) – Da Hop Trading JSC has granted full scholarships to three 10th-grade students from poor families who show outstanding academic performance in 2018.

Da Hop Trading JSC presents a full
scholarship worth 262 million VND to Nguyen Thi Ly, a 10th-grade student of
Mathematics class of Hoang Van Thu High School.
The beneficiary students are Nguyen Thi Ly, a 10th-grade
student of Mathematics class of Hoang Van Thu High School from Yen Thuy
district; Nguyen Quang Huy, a student of 10A1 class of Ky Son district’s high school;
and Truong Manh Duong from 10A6 class of Luong Son district’s high school.
They are all from families with difficult economic
conditions, but always show strong will to study and better themselves with
good academic performance.
A representative from Da Hop Trading JSC said that the
scholarships that the firm presents to the three students will cover their
studying costs in seven years from 10th grade through university,
worth a total of 786 million USD (33,798 USD), with each student receiving
about 262 million VND.
The scholarships are sourced from the Da Hop Scholarship
Fund run by the company. As scheduled, about 4 million VND per year will be provided
to each student at the beginning of each academic year (September) to pay for
tuition fee and other contributions to their schools, while 1.5 million VND will
be transferred to each student’s bank account on around the 5th-10thday every month to support their daily life.
When they enter universities, the company will provide
them with 25 million VND each year in September for tuition fees, and the
monthly grant for living expenses will be increased to 2 million VND.
The study encouragement fund has been formed recently
by the company with initial budget of about 5 billion VND (215,000 USD)./.
