(HBO) - In 2017, Giap Dat commune (Da Bac) experienced 7 cases of security order loss, arrested and treated 9 subjects. Prior to the potential risks of security order loss in the area, the Commune Police Board actively advised the Party committee, the government to effectively implement many solutions. Thereby, this could contribute to reducing and restraining the increase in the number of cases of loss of security and order; at the same time, it created conditions for local people to develop society and economy.

With that fact, the Commune Police Board actively advised the Party
committee, the government to implement well the instructions, resolutions for
the work of order security, taking initiative in promulgating documents,
elaborating plans and coordinating closely with committees, branches and mass
organizations to perform their tasks; regularly organizing periodical meetings,
assigning cadres who are responsible for the area to be ready to deal with
sudden and unexpected occurrences; identifying information for propaganda,
ensuring information security is known as an important task. The relevant
agencies have coordinated the organization at the village meetings. This has
attracted 1,600 participants in 8 hamlets and 2 schools in the area. In
particular, the Commune Police Board maintains effective coordination with the
adjacent communes to timely exchange information and solve problems in the
community or cases related to order security at the grassroots.
To concretize by practical actions, the Commune Police Board in cooperation
with the Commune Military Management Committee, has mobilized the militia
forces to launch attacks on the crime, patrolling and controlling in crowded
areas within the time of 21-23 o’clock, taking initiative in grasping the
activities of various kinds of criminals, especially those with previous
convictions, criminal cases and bad ones. Thereby, they called, detained and
implemented community-based education measures for 10 subjects, organizing the
signing of commitments at 11 karaoke entertainment and internet service
providers to strictly comply with regulations, ensuring the order security in
the area.
The commune maintains and strengthens 8 self-managed teams, 8 people
security teams, 8 patrol teams and 8 fire prevention teams. It also propagates
and mobilizes the local people to seriously implement the management and use of
weapons and support tools. In 2018, the whole commune has 343/503 cultural
households, 4/8 hamlets have reached the criteria of cultural Residential Zone.
