(HBO) – To implement the socio-economic development targets, poverty reduction and ensuring social security, Dan Ha commune (Ky Son) has successfully transferred the policy credit capital to the poor households and policy beneficiaries to implement models of cultivation and husbandry.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le, the Head of loans and saving Group in Van Tien village, said: The group has 30 members with the outstanding debt of 1.2 billion VND, implementing 5 policy credit programs. In general, these households used loans for the right purpose and effectively. In particular, there are 24 households borrowing money for the production and trading program with an outstanding debt of 828 million VND to invest in raising cattle, pigs, chickens and acacia trees, planting fruit trees and planting short-term crops for good income.

 

Mr. Dinh Van Tuyen, in Van Tien village, Dan Ha commune (Ky Son) invested in growing acacia and fruit trees for economic development.

Currently, Dan Ha Commune implemented 10 policy credit programs with the outstanding loans of nearly 40 billion VND, then become the commune with the highest outstanding debt in Ky Son district. In particular, the outstanding loans of the program for production and business in the difficult areas is the highest, reaching over 24 billion VND; The outstanding loans of the Clean Water and Environmental Hygiene program reached over 6.5 billion VND. The commune has 23 credit and savings groups with 951 borrowers, with a savings balance of over 1.1 billion VND. The commune has no overdue debt. In order to use the preferential capital with high efficiency, the policy credit officers and officials of associations and unions receiving trust have closely cooperated and strengthened propaganda, mobilized members to change their crop structure, livestock to cultivate and raise new varieties of high yield and quality to be suitable to the commune's natural conditions, develop the production models for economic efficiency such as raising garden chickens, growing citrus fruit, bee keeping for honey, etc.

From the practical point of view, from the guidelines and methods of organizations at the grassroots, especially to help members access and use loans effectively, in recent years, the movements of peasants, women, veterans, and the youth have emulated excellent production, business, being united to help reduce poverty and enrich for continuous development in the commune. Each dong of the preferential credit loans effectively used by the local people of Dan Ha commune has actively supported the national target program on poverty reduction, building new rural areas and ensuring social security in the area. Up to now, the poverty rate of the commune has decreased to 6.8%, the average income is 39.5 million VND / person / year.
