(HBO) – The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Tan Lac district has unceasingly worked to renew its operation, and improve quality of disseminating and educating law and regulations.

In
2018, youth union chapters in the district held 32 communication campaigns. Of
them, the traffic safety regulation dissemination work, which was organised in
collaboration with the district’s traffic police, was considered the most
outstanding activity. They nudged state regulations closer to disadvantaged
areas like Ngo Luong, Trung Hoa, Lo Son and Do Nhan, where local residents did
not have thorough understanding about traffic safety.
"The work was carried out via contests, including art, play, and knowledge of law.
It attracted a large number of participants, resulting in an effective
campaign”, Deputy Secretary of Tan Lac district’s HCM Communist Youth Union Bui
Van Diep said.
In recent years, the youth union chapters in Tan Lac district have paid due
attention to popularising the obligatory military service law. Secretary of Phu
Vinh commune’s youth union Dinh Cong The said that hundreds of youth union
members participated in five communication campaigns, and they got deeper
insight into their duty and responsibility.
Phu Vinh commune has always well performed military service registration and
fulfilled the assigned plan on the number of young people to join the military

In late March, 29 labourers from Da Bac district were sent to work as seasonal farm workers in Buyeo county, Chungcheongnam province, the Republic of Korea (RoK). Upon arrival, they quickly settled into their jobs, enjoying good working conditions and benefits, with wages aligned with the terms of their signed contracts. The programme is now being expanded, with relevant departments and sectors actively seeking additional seasonal employment opportunities in various localities across the RoK.
