(HBO)- Mr. Ly Van Thanh, the deputy of Cun Pheo commune’s clinics (Mai Chau) says that the clinics was newly built according to the national health standards in 2016 with the basic standard medical facilities, meeting the working requirements.


The officials in Cun Pheo clinics are wholeheartedly taking care of the people's health.

The commune’s clinics employs 7 officials, including 1 doctor, the rest are nursing officials and nurses. Over the past years, the clinics has made many efforts to implement the primary health care for the people. Although it is a commune’s clinics, the number of people coming there for medical examination and treatment is quite large. Not only people in the commune have come there for medical examination and treatment but people in neighboring communes of Hang Kia and Pieng Ve also come there for medical examination and treatment. On average, 150 - 200 turns of people are coming to the clinics for their medical examination and treatment each month. There are peak months of over 300 turns of people. Most people come to the clinic to check for common respiratory diseases such as rhinitis, throat, bronchitis, blood pressure and so on.

Cun Pheo commune’s clinics has well implemented the people's health care programs such as vaccination. They have supervised and implemented the technical measures to prevent and control the infectious diseases, the non-communicable diseases and the unidentified diseases. They have also timely detected and reported diseases and epidemics, inspected, supervised and implemented the food safety activities. The communication consultancy, health care and reproductive health care have been paid attention, too.  For many years, Cun Pheo commune’s clinics has always completed the tasks of medical examination and treatment, consulting and implementing the national target programs and projects on health and the quality of the health care for people in the region is guaranteed. In 2018, the station examined and treated 2,741 turns of people.

Mr. Ly Van Thanh, the deputy of Cun Pheo commune’s clinics Cun also sáy that besides the efforts and results achieved, the operation of the station is still in difficulty. As the initial medical facility, the number of people coming for the treatment at the beginning is very large.
