(HBO) - Luong Van Phuong, Deputy Director of the Hoa Binh Power Corporation, said to ensure safe and stable power supply during summer, the corporation has ordered its units to implement Plan No. 700/PCHB-KT on maintaining power supply for holidays and the hot season. At the same time, the company’s district- and city-level units and the management team of high-voltage grid operation conducted an overall inspection of the local grid and build a plan to settle any problems detected.

Designing plans for stable power supply at administrative offices and hospitals, and close monitoring of transmission lines and transformers for prompt actions are also required, he added. 

In addition, the Remote Control Center has been tasked to set up a power source to ensure safe and smooth operation in normal conditions and flexibility when the situation changes. Priority will be given to ensuring the electricity supply at places where local political, social and cultural activities take place. The Power Safety Department has been assigned to strengthen its safety inspection and control, and the Investment Management Department asked to speed up the implementation of measures against electricity overloads.

On the basis of the plan, the electricity units of the provincial districts and city are expected to ensure the good conditions for their transformer stations and transmission lines. They must stand ready to quickly tackle power overload due to soaring heat waves./.
