(HBĐT) - The Department of Education and Training organized a ceremony to commend and reward the national excellent students and outstanding students in the school year of 2018 - 2019.
In the school year of 2018 - 2019, the whole education and
training sector has been directing the implementation of 9 groups of major
tasks and 6 basic solutions to improve the quality of the activities. In
parallel with improving the quality of mass education, the spearhead education
quality has also prospered. In the school year of 2018 - 2019, the whole
province there have been 1,882 turns of students achieving the title of
excellent provincial students, 366 management officials and teachers have been
recognized as good managers and excellent teachers through different
competitions in the whole province.
Authorized by the Minister of Education and Training, Mr.
Bui Trong Dac, the Director of the Department of Education and Training awarded
the Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training to the
students who won the third national prizes.
There were 16 prizes including 3 third prizes and 13
consolation prizes in the exam for national high school students. Five ethnic
minority students have won the prizes. There were 2 students winning the second
prizes and 4 students winning the fourth prizes at the National Science and
Technology Contest for high school students. There were 1 Poinsettia, 3 first
prizes, 3 second prizes, 4 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes in the
"Vietnamese Poinsettia" contest at the national level.
In addition to studying the main subjects, the ethics
training and the work of physical education in schools are strongly implemented
to ensure a comprehensive education of virtue, mind, body and beauty for
students. The Education and Training sector of the province has attended the
National Swimming Competition of a good ranking with 1 gold medal and 5 bronze
medals. They have also attended the XIV Table Tennis Tournament for the
People's Teacher and won 5 bronze medals.
At the commendation ceremony, 3 students were awarded the
certificates of merit from the Minister of Education and Training, 13 students
and teachers received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the People's
Committee of the province, 106 students and teachers received certificates of
merit from the Director of the Department of Education and Training for their outstanding
achievements in the school year 2018 - 2019.
The Department of Education and Training of Hoa Binh province held a conference on March 18 to review the performance of the "Safe and Happy School" Project and set out tasks for 2025. The project, funded by the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (TFCF), aims to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for students. The event saw the attendance of representatives from the TFCF and 26 beneficiary schools.
