(HBO) - The Red Cross and Post Office of Tan Lac district coordinated to organize the opening of "The Box for Humanitarian Fund" at the Post Office and to mobilize the cadres, the civil servants, the officials and the community to join hand, supporting the families with especially difficult and vulnerable circumstances.
The charity individuals in the district have been supporting "The Box for Humanitarian Fund".
This is the program responding to the Humanitarian Month of 2019 with the message "Connecting, sharing and spreading". "The Box for Humanitarian Fund" will receive all kind heart, especially the customers of the Postal System in Vietnam. The Red Cross of the district is responsible for ensuring safety of the key to "The Box for Humanitarian Fund" and all the supported money. Periodically every 3-6 months or depending on specific circumstances, the Red Cross in coordination with the Post Office opens the box, handing over and supporting the difficult families, agreeing on the plan to deploy the practical and effective funds.
Also in the response series of the Humanitarian Month of 2019, the Red Cross of Tan Lac district has many specific programs to share, support and take care of vulnerable people such as giving gifts to poor students to overcome difficulties, giving gifts to the poor households and giving the meaningful meals to the poor patients.
In late March, 29 labourers from Da Bac district were sent to work as seasonal farm workers in Buyeo county, Chungcheongnam province, the Republic of Korea (RoK).
