(HBO) - The People's Committee of the province held a press conference on the issues relating to the preparation for the national high school exam in 2019. Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong, the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the province as well as the Head of the Steering Committee of the national high school exam in 2019 hosted the press conference.
The national high school exam in 2019 are held from June
26-27 with the following purposes: the exam results are used to consider the
high school graduation, providing the additional information to assess the
quality of the general education and the data are used for the enrollment of
education at universities and colleges.
In the exam point 22, there are 8,993
students registered to take the exam, of which 61.8% of the students will use
the national high school exam results to consider the high school graduation
only. There are 37 exam points with 393 exam rooms in the whole province. It is
expected that 1,176 officials and teachers will join the Monitoring Exam Board.
At the press conference, the journalists from the press
agencies have raise the questions relating to the following problems: the
components of the Steering Committee for the National High School Exam in 2019;
handling the offenders; announcing the identity of the wrong candidates; the
method of marking the examination in 2019; stabilizing the ideology and the psychology for the staff,
the teachers and the students before the exam and so on. The leaders from the
People's Committee, the departments and the appropriate branches in the
province have frankly and clearly answered the questions of the reporters
participating in the press conference.
At the press conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong, the Vice
Chairman of the People's Committee of the province as well as the Head of the
Steering Committee of the national high school exam in 2019 have affirmed that
the view of the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee is to
strictly handle the shortcomings and violations of the party members, the
officials, the civil servants and the officials relating to raising the test
scores. The guiding spirit is to clarify the responsibilities, shortcomings and
violations, and then handle the mistakes and violations. All levels and
branches have been raising the sense of responsibility, implementing
preparations for the national high school exam in 2019 to ensure the schedule
and regulations.
