(HBO) - On June 17, the Steering Committee (Steering Committee) of the National High School Exam leaded by Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong, the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the province and the Head of the Examination Committee checked the preparation for the national high school exam year, 2019 in Luong Son district. The other members of the Steering Committee, who are the leaders of the departments and the appropriate authorities of the province also took part in the working group.

The delegation of the Steering Committee checked the actual situation at Luong Son High School and Nguyen Trai High School. There are total of 20 exam rooms, 1 backup room with 2,75 candidates in Luong Son high school. There are 14 exam rooms, 1 backup room with 324 candidates in Nguyen Trai high school; in which there are 195 students from Nguyen Trai High School and 129 candidates from Luong Son Vocational and Continuing education center. The candidates of the Vocational and Continuing education center are students from the General Secondary School of Xuan Mai town in association with the Vocational and Continuing education center.

Up till now, the schools have completed the revision for 12th grade students as well as the preparation for the facilities and personnel for the examination, coordinating to ensure the security and safety for the exam in accordance with the plans and exam regulations. In particular, all schools have installed surveillance cameras for recording according to the regulations and have prepared the plans to ensure the accommodation and safety for university officials and lecturers working at the exam site and the contingency plan for power failure, fire protection and so on.

The exam points have also reported to the Steering Committee some difficulties and problems in the preparation for the exams such as the problems relating to the free candidates may arise, solving the grid problems, the travelling problems of the candidates from the remote areas, ensuring the security and safety for the officials and the lecturers from universities so that they can perform their tasks at the exam.

After checking the actual situation, the member of the Steering Committee has recommended some notes to the schools: there must have minutes to handover the rooms containing exam papers and tests: ensuring the security at the waiting room, paying attention to cases of the signals to use high-tech equipment; reviewing the stages of preparation; ensuring communication all day and night; planning to ensure the traffic safety ...

To come to the conclusion, Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong, the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee as well as the Head of the National High School Examination in 2019 has highly appreciated the preparation work for the examination sites in Luong Son district. He noted that the localities should continue to improve the preparation process thoroughly. The implementing the task of ensuring information security, not revealing the exam papers should be paid much attention to.

For the free candidates, it is necessary to strictly inspect the examination cards, identification papers, not allowing the exam execution. During the exam process, if there are any situations, it should be handled according to regulations or timely reported and ask for the guidance. The dissemination of examination regulations, upholding the sense of responsibility of officials participating in the exam, preventing the occurrence of candidates' frauds, violating regulations on examination and using high-tech equipment in the exam should be strengthened.
