(HBO) - Currently, the movement of the volunteering blood donation has developed extensively in the province. This is one of the beautiful, strong and pervasive gestures in the community. In response to the movement, the union members and the workers of the industrial parks in the province have always actively participated in the programs of the volunteering blood donation such as "The Festival of the Pink Spring”, "The Day of blood donation of all people” in the past years.

The workers of Luong Son Industrial Zone (Luong Son) are donating blood at the Day of Volunteering Blood Donation held in early July 2019.

In 2019, in response to the campaign of the Steering Committee for campaigning the volunteering blood donation, the Trade Union of the provincial Industrial Parks has organized the program "Voluntarily Donating blood” among the union members and the workers. Thereby, they have been directing the grassroots trade unions to propagate and mobilize the union members to participate in volunteering blood donation, promoting the spirit of charity among the union members and the workers and contributing to overcome the scarcity of blood in emergency and treatment at the Provincial General Hospital and the care and protection of the people's health.

With the message "A drop of blood to give away - a life to stay”, The festival of volunteering blood donation among the union members and the workers of Luong Son Industrial Park has taken place warmly and solemnly. The volunteers and the doctors of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion and the Red Cross have guided the process of blood donation, receiving blood and consulting about the health devotedly and thoughtfully.

Mr. Hoang Minh Tuan, the Chairman of the Trade Union of the provincial Industrial Zones, says this is the second year the Trade Union of the provincial industrial parks and the provincial Red Cross have organized the program for volunteering blood donation. This year, the number of workers registered has increased twice compared to that of 2018, attracting more than 477 volunteers who are the members of the trade union, the workers and the employees from the enterprises in Luong Son Industrial Parks. As a result, 305 units of blood were donated, becoming an additional source of blood, helping to cure patients.

From the success of the program, the Trade Union of the industrial parks has put into the annual working program and propagandized and mobilized the members of the trade union and the workers to actively take part in. This is a meaningful and humane activity, a noble gesture of the members of the trade union and the workers of the provincial industrial parks in helping to save the sick, expressing their responsibilities and spirit of mutual affection and charity, sharing with the community, further beautifying the compassionate tradition of Vietnamese nation.
