(HBO) - Currently there have been 275 clubs of community development in Hoa Binh, some of which such as the Teachers’ Art Club in Huu Nghi Ward, the Club of Community Development in Tan Thinh Ward, the Nursing Club in Thinh Lang ward and so on are typical and active.

Building and developing the clubs of community development is one of the key tasks that have been paid attention to by Hoa Binh City to respond to the lifelong learning movement in families, family lines and communities. The clubs operate regularly and effectively, organizing movements of rich and diverse cultural, art, physical training and sports activities, attracting a lot of people at different age, positively contributing to the movement of building a lifelong learning and learning society.

Discussing the implementation of the Project "Promoting the movement of lifelong learning in families, family lines and communities" in Hoa Binh City, Mr. Trinh Thi Thanh Thuy, the Vice Chairman of the city’s Association for Promoting Education says in 3 years of mass deployment of learning models, the departments, the organizations, the appropriate authorities, the schools and the households in the city have actively responded to the movement. The families, the family lines, and volunteering communities have registered to strive for the academic titles.

Right from the beginning of this year, there have been 23.848 families in the whole city registered to build the learning ones, 10 typically outstanding learning families; 66 family line have registered to build the learning ones, 11 typically outstanding learning family lines; 153 communities have registered to build the learning communities, 6 outstanding learning communities; 72 units have registered to build the learning units and 7 outstanding academic units.

The Association for Promoting Education in 15 communes and wards in the province have built the movement of the learning families, family lines and communities in association with the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life in the residential areas". In the past 3 years, the number of recognized learning families, family lines and communities has increased markedly. The building of the learning models has had a positive impact on the improvement of intellectuals, training the human resources, contributing to the development of economy, culture and society in the locality, especially for the movement of building the new rural areas, the civilized cities, building the cultural life in the residential areas.
