(HBO) - The Tan Lac High School, based in Tan Lac district of Hoa Binh province, held a ceremony on September 4 to mark the beginning of the 2019-2020 academic year, receive the national-standard school certificate and celebrate its 45th founding anniversary.
The event saw the presence of Bui Van Tinh, member of the
Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party
Committee; and Ngo Van Tuan, Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee.

Since its foundation in 1974, the Tan Lac High
School has developed with modern facilities equipped. In the new academic year,
it has 21 classes with 735 students.
Thanks to its achievements, the school has been
granted with many rewards by the Party, State and education sector. Notably, in
the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 academic years, it was honoured by the provincial
People’s Committee and the Ministry of Education and Training for topping the
high schools in Hoa Binh.
On January 16 this year, the chairperson of the
provincial People’s Committee issued a decision recognising the Tan Lac High
School as a national standard school, Level 1.
For the 2019-2020 academic year, the school is
set to press on with fundamental and comprehensive reforms by carrying out nine
focal tasks and five groups of basic solutions.
Congratulating the teachers and students, Bui
Van Tinh, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial
Party Committee, applauded the school’s attainments over the last 45 years,
noting that it has fulfilled the mission of helping to improve people’s
educational level, train human resources and nurture talents for the locality
and the nation.
Regarding tasks for the time ahead, the official
asked the school to promote political and ideological education, enhance
discipline, and build a healthy and progressive educational environment. He
also called for continued effective implementation of the resolution on the
fundamental and comprehensive reform of education and training issued at the
8th meeting of the 11th-tenure Party Central Committee, along with the
provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board’s directive on improving the
quality of general education.
Besides, the school also needs to include life
skill training and occupational guidance in its curricula while stepping up IT
application and improving management, teaching and learning activities./.
In late March, 29 labourers from Da Bac district were sent to work as seasonal farm workers in Buyeo county, Chungcheongnam province, the Republic of Korea (RoK). Upon arrival, they quickly settled into their jobs, enjoying good working conditions and benefits, with wages aligned with the terms of their signed contracts. The programme is now being expanded, with relevant departments and sectors actively seeking additional seasonal employment opportunities in various localities across the RoK.
Luong Son Industrial Park has invested in standardised wastewater and emissions treatment systems, enforced tight emission controls, reduced noise, dust, and solid waste, and expanded green spaces, contributing to protecting the environment and promoting sustainable development.
Hoa Binh police are collecting public feedback on amendments to the 2013 Constitution via the national identification app VNeID. This innovative approach marks a giant leap towards modernising grassroots democracy and enhancing transparency in public consultation.
A total public investment capital of 113 billion VND (over 4.3 million USD) was disbursed for a project to upgrade infrastructure and stabilise residents in the vicinity of the Da River reservoir between 2021 and the first quarter of 2025, giving a facelift to local rural areas and improving the quality of people's life.
