(HBO) – Realising the public investment plan for the 2016-2020 period, the Hoa Binh Department of Transport has invested in nine transport projects worth over 1.97 trillion VND (84.71 million USD). Of the total, three have become operational, including the upgrading of provincial Road 440 from Km0-Km2; the construction of Suoi Hoa bridge at Km29+200 of Road 433; and the settlement of erosion at Km5+350.
With a total approved investment of about 765 billion VND, the project to upgrade provincial Road 435 has been sped up so that it can be completed in December 2020 as scheduled.
Among the remaining six projects, three have been in the process of finalizing the investment procedure so that they can be launched in the near future. They are the construction of Hoa Binh 2 bridge; Trang bridge; and a road connecting National Highway 6 with Chi Lang road, all in Hoa Binh city.
For the rest three underway projects, the department has directed relevant agencies to speed up their progress to ensure they are finished as planned.
The project to connect the Ho Chi Minh Road and National Highway 12B to National Highway 1, and the one to construct the Motor Vehicle Register Centre and A1-level Motor Driver Training Centre are scheduled to be completed in December 2019. Meanwhile, the project to upgrade provincial Road 435 is set to finish in December 2020./.
