A 2017 mid-autumn fair, themed "A ticket to Childhood", opened on September 24 at the Hanoi Children's Palace (HCP).
The fair aims to re-enact
the ancient Mid-Autumn festival with bright lanterns, funny masks, Uncle Cuoi -
Sister Hang Nga (the two fairy-tale characters who live on the Moon) and
fantastic lion dances for children.
This year’s fair is an
annual activity which not only creates opportunities to connect family members
but also brings a traditional mid-autumn festival to kids. The mid-autumn fair
has more than 40 booths with products related to families such as cosmetics,
clothing, food, household items, and children toys on display.
This is also a bustling
playground with a lot of exchange activities for families. In addition, the
organizing panel created a special space for children with various amazing
games and activities. Accordingly, children learned how to make a lantern,
tried their hands at become a fashion designer and especially enjoyed lion
dance performances.
