(HBO) - Hoa Binh is one of the13 provinces nationwide to implement the Medical Support Project of the North East and Red river delta regions (Norred Project). The project has been implemented since 2013. After 6 years of implementation, the project has supported the transfer of many techniques, improving skills for the medical staff and doctors.

The quality of health care for the patients in the hospital has been improved. One of the techniques that must be mentioned is the technique to treat the patients with cerebrovascular accident using thrombolytic drugs.

The doctors of the Provincial General Hospital are examining and evaluating the muscles for the patients with cerebrovascular accident treated using thrombolytic drugs.

This method has been implemented at the Provincial General Hospital since 2015. After more than 4 years there have been over 90 cases treated with thrombolytic drugs, in July 2019 only there were 45 cases.

Doctor Ta Huy Kien, the Head of the Department of Emergency and Poison Prevention (the Provincial General Hospital), says: In order to improve the professional qualifications, the medical staff and doctors of the department have been sent to train the technology transfer at the central hospitals.

Being one of the 5 hospitals that have been the beneficiary from the Norred Project, the Provincial General Hospital has been making efforts to improve the quality of the medical examination and treatment, aiming at the patients’ satisfaction.
