The officials from the Department of the Ethnic Minorities in Kim Boi district have been coordinating with the authorities and the local people to closely monitor the progress and quality of the underground constructions in Vo village, Cuoi Ha commune, which are invested from the capital of Program 135.

Thanks to the effective integration of programs and projects, up till now 100% of the district’s roads, the roads to centers of communes in the district and 70% of trunk roads of villages, hamlets, inter-villages and hamlets in the district have been asphalted and concreted according to the technical level of the Ministry of Transport. More than 57% of alleys and the roads in the villages are clean and not muddy in the rainy season; 80% of the main infield roads have met the requirement of the convenient transportation all year round.

From the capital to support production development and diversify livelihoods, in 2019 Kim Boi district allocated over 4.5 billion VND to provide plant varieties, fertilizer, support plowing machines, water pumps, pesticide spraying machines, technical training to build the models of animal husbandry, cultivation ... with thousands of beneficiary households and groups. In addition, in the whole district there were 217 households in 12 communes which supported over 325 million VND to install a distributed living water system.
Effectively deploying tasks on the ethnic affairs, infrastructure, the appearance of the rural areas in Kim Boi district has been more and more spacious. The people of all ethnic groups have renewed their mindset, the way of working, working harder and harder for economic development. Up to now, the district poverty rate has decreased to 14.77%, the average income per capita is about 31.8 million VND a year.
In late March, 29 labourers from Da Bac district were sent to work as seasonal farm workers in Buyeo county, Chungcheongnam province, the Republic of Korea (RoK). Upon arrival, they quickly settled into their jobs, enjoying good working conditions and benefits, with wages aligned with the terms of their signed contracts.
