(HBO) - Realizing the objective of building a synchronous rural transport infrastructure, Mai Chau district has mobilized resources to invest, renovate and upgrade the roads of the district and the communes, the trunk roads and alleys of the communes and the inner roads to meet the needs of travelling, the cultural exchange, the socio-economic development and the maintenance of political security and social security in the locality.

La commune (Mai Chau) has just been renewed with concrete with a total budget
of over 800 million VND.
In the period of 2010-2020, the district
has mobilized a total investment of over 652.6 billion VND for the development
of rural transport. Of which, the central budget is 48.5 billion VND, the local
budget is VND 373.5 billion, the people have contributed over 184 billion VND
and some other integrated capital sources.
The development of rural transport
is linked to the implementation of criterion No. 2 of the Program for the
National Environment of the New Rural Construction. From the mobilized capital,
20.14 km of road has been newly built, 28.04 km of road have been renovated and
upgraded, 5 km of road have been maintained and 118 sluices and overflow roads
have been newly built. Now the rate of hardened rural roads has reached 64%.
