(HBO) – Officials of the labour federation of Hoa Binh province on March 17 inspected COVID-19 prevention and control efforts of trade unions of the provincial industrial and trade sector. The delegation also presented face masks and antiseptics to local workers.

To ensure health for members of the trade unions and labourers amid the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic, the provincial labour federation has closely monitor the situation and enhance communications in COVID-19 prevention and control among employers and their workers.

During the visits, the provincial labour federation officials presented 30 bottles of hand sanitizer and 2,000 anti-bacteria cloth face masks to workers at the RNS Global Garment Company and the Song Da Garment Export joint Stock Company.

At the two companies, the officials were briefed on efforts of the firms in coping with the outbreak. They requested trade unions at the companies to regularly update their member workers on the COVID-19 situation and join hands with employers to implement preventive measures and raise labourers’ awareness in disease prevention, thereby maintaining stable production./.
