This is the first "rice ATM" launched in Hoa Binh city. Each person can receive 2 kg of rice for one take.

The activity benefits poor and near-poor households, social policy beneficiaries, those living inextremely difficult circumstances or greatly affected by the pandemic, especially workers and freelance labourers in the city.

Those that come to receive rice must carry their identity cards (citizen ID), to provide information serving epidemiological examination.

They are requested to have a temperature checking, wear face masks, wash their hands with antiseptic solution, keep a distance of at least 2m from others, and strictly follow other disease prevention principles before taking the rice.

In the spirit of "If you need, come and take rice - If you are okay, leave the rice to others - If you have plenty, please donate ", the municipal People’s Committee has called for support and donation from businesses, organizations and individuals in the city to maintain uninterrupted rice supply at free distribution points during the difficult time, in order to leave no one behind in the fight against the epidemic./.
