(HBO) – "Party members set examples for residents to follow” is not a slogan but a reality in Nam Hoa 2 hamlet, Xuat Hoa commune, Lac Son district, Hoa Binh province, with the leading role played by Tran Ngoc Son, Secretary of the Party cell and head of the hamlet.

With his prestige and responsibility, Tran Ngoc Son, Secretary of the Party cell of Nam Hoa 2 hamlet, has encouraged local residents to contribute money and workdays to the building of public facilities in the hamlet.

Taking us around the hamlet, he said 2017-2020 is the most successful tenure in terms of local infrastructure development.

This is convincing evidence that where there is a strong Party organisation with the pioneering role of Party members, there must be comprehensive socio-economic development, he stressed.

The Party cell has carried forward its leadership and actively encouraged locals to contribute to infrastructure construction.

With these joint efforts, the hamlet has built a gate worth 32 million VND, a memorial monument for heroic martyrs with a funding of 35 million VND, power lines valued at about 22 million VND and concrete roads at 21 million VND, and upgraded the hamlet cultural house at a cost of some 38 million VND.

The total funding for infrastructure construction in the hamlet from 2017 to 2020 was over 300 million VND.

Bui Van Hao, Secretary of the Party Committee of Xuat Hoa commune, said with the resolve to set examples for residents to follow, the Party cell of Nam Hoa 2 has consolidated Party leadership at the grassroots level, and led locals in implementing socio-economic development targets.

As a result, the hamlet has completed all of the 10 targets set at its Party Congress for the 2017-2020 tenure.

Nam Hoa 2 is also the first hamlet of Xuat Hoa commune to merge the positions of the secretary of the Party cell and head of the hamlet into one, reflecting the solidarity and consensus of the Party cell and locals in both will and actions, as well as the quality, prestige and capacity of the secretary of the Party cell and head of the hamlet./.
