(HB0) - In the first five months of 2020, Yen Thuy district delivered all support packages in accordance with regulations for 1,075 policy beneficiaries and people who rendered service to the nation as well as 2,330 social welfare beneficiaries. The district also approved the granting of 32,558 health insurance cards for these groups in line with regulations.
In particular, implementing Decision No.
15/2020/QD-TTg on supporting beneficiaries of social protection policies
affected by the Covid-19 pandemic; and Resolution No. 42/NQ-CP on measures to
support people facing difficulties due to Covid-19, the district has distributed
support for 16,291 people with a total amount of nearly 13.8 billion VND. In
addition, it has paid regular attention to ensuring social security and taking
care of people's lives, besides visiting and giving gifts to policy
beneficiaries and assisting the poor and households difficulties during the
Lunar New Year with a total funding of more than 1.5 billion VND.
