(HBO) - Nhuan Trach commune in Luong Son district, Hoa Binh province, now has broad cement roads with colourful flowers on the roadsides, and spacious houses. Locals are excited as the commune is expected to be recognised as an advanced new-style rural area late this year.

Dong Se hamlet, Nhuan Trach commune, Luong Son district, has concretised all of its roads and become the first model residential area of the commune.

In 2015, the commune completed all of the 19 criteria set for a new-style rural area, and reached the target as scheduled. With these achievements, local authorities have made greater efforts towards the status of an advanced new-style rural area.

The locality has so far fulfilled 18 out of 19 criteria set for an advanced new-style rural area. The remainder regarding school building is expected to be completed at the end of this year, helping the commune reach the target as scheduled.

Nhuan Trach has made outstanding performance in road and canal building, electricity and poverty reduction, among others.

Besides, up to 90 percent of local residents have access to medical services and 95.03 percent have participated in health insurance. Two cooperatives established in the commune are operating effectively. All of the local children have access to school.

Nhuan Trach comprises three hamlets namely Dong Bung, Cau Son and Dong Se, with Dong Se completing all 11 set criteria./.
