(HBO) - The Fatherland Front of Lac Son District celebrated the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam National Unified Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2020) and launched the peak month for the poor in 2020.

At the launching ceremony of the peak Month for the Poor in Lac Son District in 2020, My Phong Investment & Construction Co., Ltd. donated 50 million VND.

At the meeting, the delegates reviewed the 90-year tradition of the establishment of Vietnam National Unified Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2020). Looking back on historical processes, in each period and each revolutionary period, Vietnam National Unified Front has different forms and names to suit the mission but all of them are for the purpose of building and uniting all strata of people into a united bloc, unified in will and action, for the common goal of the revolution, the Party and the nation. For the Fatherland Front at all levels of Lac Son district, the member organizations have actively expanded the form of gathering members, ethnic groups, religions, the reputable people with the people to gather widely people in the society.

The campaign "For the poor”, launched by the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front since 2000, is annually taken from October 17 to November 17 as the peak month to mobilize donations. The mobilization of the entire population to support the poor has become a widespread movement in agencies, units, communes, towns and residential areas throughout the district, which has been arousing the compassionate hearts of the donors inside and outside the district. They have been actively participating in support to build the fund. The fund's donation in the period (2015-2020) has reached over 5.3 billion VND. This amount is annually used to support the construction of the unite house and support the poor households during the occasion of New Year. By August 2020, the fund balance is over 20 million dongs.

At the meeting, Fatherland Front of Lac Son District launched a peak month to support the poor. Right in the launching ceremony, the individuals and collectives have donated more than 166 million dongs.
