(HBO) - In the face of the floods causing serious consequences in the central provinces, the Fatherland Front of Luong Son district called on agencies, units, businesses, individuals, and philanthropists in the district to join hands to support the people so that they could overcome the consequences of the natural disasters. By November 27, the Relief Committee - Fatherland Front of the district received 973,581 million VND in cash. In addition, a number of collectives and volunteering groups directly supported the people with goods and necessities.

The leaders of the Party Committee, the People's Committee, the Enterprise Association of Luong Son district directly donated gifts to Binh Hai commune, Binh Son district (Quang Ngai) affected by floods.
The district’s Fatherland Front has
transferred 100 million VND to support the people of Central Vietnam to the
Relief Fund - the Provincial Fatherland Front. At the same time, on November
20, the district's delegation, including the leaders of the District’s Party
Committee, the People's Committee, and the District’s Business Association
arrived at Quang Ngai province to give 200 million VND to Binh Son district,
and they directly arrived at Binh Hai commune to give gifts for the citizen.
In addition to the above amount of
money, the Enterprise Association of Luong Son district awarded 210 million VND
to the people of Quang Ngai province. In which, they donated 100 million VND to
Binh Son district and gave gifts to 5 poor households with 2 million VND each.
They awarded 50 million VND to the schools in Ly Son island district.
With the amount of money supporting
the people in the Central region the remaining money is 673,581 VND, the
district’s Fatherland Front continues to develop a support plan.
In late March, 29 labourers from Da Bac district were sent to work as seasonal farm workers in Buyeo county, Chungcheongnam province, the Republic of Korea (RoK). Upon arrival, they quickly settled into their jobs, enjoying good working conditions and benefits, with wages aligned with the terms of their signed contracts. The programme is now being expanded, with relevant departments and sectors actively seeking additional seasonal employment opportunities in various localities across the RoK.
Luong Son Industrial Park has invested in standardised wastewater and emissions treatment systems, enforced tight emission controls, reduced noise, dust, and solid waste, and expanded green spaces, contributing to protecting the environment and promoting sustainable development.
