(HBO) - Within 2 days, 3rd – 4th March, in Da Bac town, the police of Da Bac district coordinated with the Center of Vocational Training and Farmers’ Support under the Provincial Farmers’ Association to open a selling point for the clean agricultural products, supporting the provincial farmers to consume the products due to the effect of Covid-19 epidemic.

to consume tubers, a vegetables and fruits to help people due to the effect of
Covid-19 epidemic.
Facing with the concerns
about the output for the agricultural products of the local people due to the
complicated development of Covid-19 epidemic, they collected 7 tons of
vegetables, tubers and fruits for sale from Hieu Thinh Green Agricultural &
Service Cooperative, located in An Nghia commune (Lac Son). In the spirit of
rescuing the agricultural products for the local people, the goods were sold
with the price of 3,000 - 4,000 VND / kg, namely cabbage and kohlrabi. After 2
days, 7 tons of vegetables, tubers and fruits were consumed. They were mainly
bought by the officials and the people in Da Bac town, bringing more than 20
million VND.
This is the meaningful
and practical work of the officers and the soldiers of the Da Bac police
showing the spirit of accompanying with the people in difficult times due to
the prolonged epidemic, which has been motivating farmers to feel secure in
production.
In late March, 29 labourers from Da Bac district were sent to work as seasonal farm workers in Buyeo county, Chungcheongnam province, the Republic of Korea (RoK). Upon arrival, they quickly settled into their jobs, enjoying good working conditions and benefits, with wages aligned with the terms of their signed contracts. The programme is now being expanded, with relevant departments and sectors actively seeking additional seasonal employment opportunities in various localities across the RoK.
