(HBO) - In recent years, the activities for the poor, especially building houses of "Great Solidarity”, have been promptly implemented by the Fatherland Front of Yen Thuy district, which has been contributing to help the poor step by step to stabilize and improve their lives and escape from poverty.
The leader sof Yen Thuy District’s Fatherland Front are handing over the houses of "Great Solidarity” to the poor households in Nghia hamlet, Lac Sy commune.
The Fatherland Front at all levels of the district has focused on mobilizing the resources to build and repair 17 houses of "Great Solidarity” for the poor households in the communes and the town. On the threshold of welcoming the spring of Tan Suu in 2021, being able to stay in a new, clean and beautiful house, Mr. Bui Van Thuong, the Northwest Quarter, Hang Tram Town was really and touched by the attention and the facilitation of the Fatherland Front at all levels. Mr. Thuong said: "In the past, my family had a lot of difficulty in life, I was seriously ill, I thought I could not survive. The house was deteriorated, however, with the attention from the district’s Fatherland Front and all levels and the government, my family has had a throne and solid house to live in”.
like Mr. Thuong's family, Mr. Bui Van Toan's one from Nghia hamlet, Lac Sy commune is a family with special difficulties in housing, the main source of income is mainly based on a few acres of fields. The district’s Fatherland Front has supported 30 million VND to energize and motivate his family to strive to build a new and more solid house. Having a solid house, his family no longer has to cover the top and bottom temporarily to avoid the rain and wind, feeling secure to work and raise the children.
In 2020, the district’s Fatherland Front supported the construction of 17 new houses of "Great Solidarity”, each household was supported by 30 million VND from the district’s Fund for the Poor. Along with the supported money from the Fatherland Front, the families also received the attention and help from the local government, the relatives and the neighbors in terms of workdays, and fund for buying building materials. Thereby, it has helped the poor households with extremely difficult circumstances to stabilize their lives and rise out of poverty. Ms. Bui Thi Binh, the Head of the District’s Commission for Mass Mobilization, the Chairman of the Fatherland Front said: "Although the amount of money is small, it is a source of encouragement and a catalyst for the poor households to try to accumulate to buy a new home. Thereby, it makes them feel secure to do business and raise their children”.
In the coming time, the district’s Fatherland Front continues to aim at ensuring the social security and effectively implementing the program of reducing poverty sustainably. Along with promoting propaganda, the Fatherland Front at all levels have been paying attention to mobilizing the building of the Fund for the Poor, supporting the building of the houses of "Great Solidarity”, visiting and giving gifts to extremely difficult subjects with the motto "none is left behind”, creating a livelihood to help the poor households to sustainably escape poverty.
