(HBO) - On June 7th, the leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front visited, encouraged and presented gifts to support the frontline officers fighting against Covid-19 epidemics in Luong Son district; providing materials to support the district's prevention and control of the epidemics. The money and the goods have been deducted from the provincial fund of preventing and cotrolling Covid-19 epidemics. In which, each medical staff was supported with 1 million VND; each serving officer and soldier was supported with 500,000 VND.
The leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front are giving the supporting materials and gifts to the frontline officers fighting against Covid-19 epidemics at the isolation area in Tan Vinh commune (Luong Son).
Specifically, the leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front visited and encouraged the officials performing the task of combating Covid-19 epidemics at the district’s Health Center, giving 3,000 face masks, 30 splash shields, and 45 sets of medical protective equipment. At the isolation area in Tan Vinh commune, 1,500 medical face masks, 25 splash shields, and 45 sets of medical protective equipment were given. At the same time, they gave money to support 9 health employees, 32 frontline soldiers against the epidemics, which was worth 25 million VND.
The leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front hoped that the frontline officials in the fight against the epidemics would continue to make efforts to perform their assigned tasks well. The officials there thanked the attention of the leaders at all levels, the affection of the people from all walks of life sending and supporting to the Provincial Fund of Covid-19 Prevention and Control. That is the encouragement and motivation to continue the fight against the "Covid-19 enemy” and it is hopes to continue to receive support to fight against the epidemics.
In late March, 29 labourers from Da Bac district were sent to work as seasonal farm workers in Buyeo county, Chungcheongnam province, the Republic of Korea (RoK).
