According to the Hoa Binh Department of Health, as of August 10, three phases of inoculation had finished and the fourth and fifth ones are underway.

As many as 42,538 people have received at least one jab, of them 6,559 people have been fully vaccinated. A total of 48,085 doses have been administered.

The supply, reception, transportation and preservation of vaccine and equipment have been done in a timely manner. Vaccines have been allocated to vaccination sites on time for the implementation of the plan.

At the conference, participants reported obstacles that hinder the vaccination process and put forward measures to carry out the campaign in remote and mountainous areas, preserve the vaccines at grassroots facilities, mobilise medical workers and volunteers to help with vaccination work at the sites, among others.

Speaking at the meeting, Toan assigned tasks to relevant sectors and asked them to frequently update information from vaccination sites, especially on any incidents in a bid to devise suitable and timely solutions.

The Hoa Binh Department of Health will soon build vaccine distribution plans for prioritised groups, he said, suggesting that retired medical workers be mobilised to ensure personnel for the drive./.
