(HBO) - The steering board for the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination drive in Hoa Binh province on August 13 held a meeting on the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination campaign in 2021-22.
The event was chaired by Vice Chairman of the provincial
People’s Committee and head of the steering board Nguyen Van Toan.

According to the Hoa Binh Department of Health, as of August 10, three phases
of inoculation had finished and the fourth and fifth ones are underway.
As many as 42,538 people have received at least one jab, of them 6,559 people
have been fully vaccinated. A total of 48,085 doses have been
administered.
The supply, reception, transportation and preservation of vaccine and equipment
have been done in a timely manner. Vaccines have been allocated to vaccination
sites on time for the implementation of the plan.
At the conference, participants reported obstacles that hinder the vaccination
process and put forward measures to carry out the campaign in remote and
mountainous areas, preserve the vaccines at grassroots facilities, mobilise
medical workers and volunteers to help with vaccination work at the sites,
among others.
Speaking at the meeting, Toan assigned tasks to relevant sectors and asked them
to frequently update information from vaccination sites, especially on any
incidents in a bid to devise suitable and timely solutions.
The Hoa Binh Department of Health will soon build vaccine distribution plans
for prioritised groups, he said, suggesting that retired medical workers be
mobilised to ensure personnel for the drive./.
