(HBO) - On October 4th, in Chi Dao commune (Lac Son), Viettel Hoa Binh coordinated with the Department of Education and Training and the Provincial Association for Promoting Education to organize a scholarship awarding ceremony for the program "Because I am studious” in 2021. Mr. Nguyen Van. Chuong, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the leaders from other departments, branches and the People's Committee of Lac Son district.

leader of Viettel Hoa Binh are awarding the scholarship to the poor studious
students of Lac Son district.
The program "Because I am studious”
of Viettel Military Telecommunications Group has been implemented since October
2014 with a view to encouraging and empowering the students in rural, remote
and disadvantaged areas to rise up in the study. The goal is to implement in 10
years (2014 - 2024) with a total value of over 260 billion VND.
Particularly in Hoa Binh province,
the program "Because I am studious” from 2014 to 2020 has awarded 6,770 sets of
scholarship with a total value of 6.77 billion VND to the poor students who are
studious. Viettel Hoa Binh has coordinated with the Department of Education and
Training and the Provincial Association for Promoting Education to select 710
poor students all over the province with the high academic achievements to
award the scholarship with a total value of 1.42 billion VND (2 million VND a
set). It is expected that in 10 years (2014 - 2024), 8,620 scholarships with a
total value of 11.4 billion VND will be awarded.

Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee
affirmed: Viettel's interest in educational programs is really valuable. In
particular, the program "Because I am studious” has a profound humanistic
meaning, effectively supporting the poor students so that they can go to
school. He believes in the program’s spread in the coming time, and he hopes
the the program will continue bringing good things to the future generations of
the province in particular and the country in general.
At the ceremony, the leaders from
the Provincial People's Committee and the representatives of the Provincial
Association for Promoting Education awarded the Gold Board for Promoting
Education to Viettel Hoa Binh in the recognition of the its contribution to the
cause of promoting education, education and training in the province. The
leaders from Viettel Hoa Binh awarded the logo "Because I am studious” to Lac
Son district (worth 300 million VND) and Hoa Binh province (worth 1,420 million
VND). They awarded 30 scholarships with a total value of 60 million VND to the
poor students overcoming difficulties in 3 out of the 24 communes in Lac Son
district.
The Department of Education and Training of Hoa Binh province held a conference on March 18 to review the performance of the "Safe and Happy School" Project and set out tasks for 2025. The project, funded by the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (TFCF), aims to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for students. The event saw the attendance of representatives from the TFCF and 26 beneficiary schools.
