(HBO) - Residential areas across Hoa Binh province annually hold the great national unity festival from November 1 to 18 to celebrate the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF)'s traditional day. This year, the event took place with the same cheerful and eager atmosphere as usual in line with COVID-19 prevention and control measures.
People in Mo hamlet, Chieng Chau commune, Mai Chau district,
stage a musical performance at the local great national unity festival.
As a green zone, the residential area with 155 households in
Gieng hamlet in Hoa Binh city’s Hop Thanh commune held a safe and happy
festival, featuring impressive musical performances.
The Thai ethnic community in Mo hamlet also participated in
the festival with joy while fully following COVID-19 safety requirements.

Duc town said attending the festival, she is more determined to building her
residential area toward prosperity, civilization, and safety amid the pandemic.
This year, in the context of the COVID-19, the provincial
Fatherland Front Committee guided the organisation of the festival in
accordance with the situation in each locality.
Vice Chairman of the committee Tran Duc Truong said the
festival was held to further affirm the self-governing role of the community in
implementing the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws. It also
encouraged locals to overcome difficulties and challenges, and promoted the
synergy of solidarity and consensus in pandemic prevention and control.
Based on specific situation in each area, the committee
directed the organisation of the festival according to three different levels.
For localities without infections or with well controlled pandemic conditions,
the event was held as normal, while in areas with complicated COVID-19
developments, activities were held in the virtual form.
The committee assessed that overall, localities held the
festival in line with the direction. On the occasion, they also conducted
environment sanitation activities, planted trees, and handed over charity house
for welfare policy beneficiaries. The events also saw the attendance of leaders
from central and local authorities, strengthening the ties between the Party
and State and the people./.

Thanks to the support of local authorities, Hoa Binh’s education system continues to achieve significant progress, contributing to meeting comprehensive reform targets and students' learning needs as well as supplying high-quality human resources for the province.

The district has collaborated with the provincial Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs, job service centres, and domestic and international recruitment agencies to organise job fairs and consultation sessions every year.
