Lac Thuy
District Police launched an intensive campaign to crack down on crimes,
ensuring public order and safety during the traditional Tet holiday "Year of
the Tiger” 2022.
As the year draws to a close, criminal activities of all
types are on the rise, compounded with unpredictable consequences of COVID-19
pandemic resulting in more complex
situations.
During the intensive campaign, units are instructed to focus
efforts on implementing scenarios, plans and works designed for the purposes of
keeping a close watch on the situations, proactively taking precautions against
conspiracies of hostile forces and reactionaries, preventing petitions and
social trouble spots, securing public order and traffic safety, eliminating
surprises and unpreparedness under every circumstance; to uphold the centrality
of communes and townships in crime prevention and combating, effectively
maintaining public order and security at grassroots levels. Accordingly, great
emphasis is to be invested on encouraging and mobilizing the people to be
vigilant, actively participating in "All people safeguard the Fatherland's
security" movement, denouncing criminals, correcting and educating the
offenders in their homes and communities; to timely preventing disputes in the
communities from escalating into criminal activities; to ensure absolute safety
protection during the traditional Tet welcoming the Year of the Tiger and
Spring 2022 festivities.
