(HBO) - On the evening of December 15, the province’s Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs joined hands with local Communist Youth Union and Provincial Ethnic Minority Boarding High School to co-host the exchange program called "Communication in preventing and combating drug, HIV/AIDS among youth and students” 2021.

At the exchange, attendants participated in two groups of
activities: Performances and quiz games dealing with knowledge in preventing
and combating social vices. The stage gigs conducted by the Provincial Ethnic
Minority Boarding High School students, including musical and acting
perfomances, audience interactions, quiz games of questions about drug abuses
and HIV/AIDS pandemic, helped the young to raise legal awareness about drug
abuse prevention and combating as well as damaging effect of addictive
substances, necessary measures in combating and denouncing crimes in illegal
drug trafficking, storing and consuming; inspired the attendants to join efforts in preventing drug related
crimes and dangerous social vices from infiltrating the education environment,
dislodging drug abuses out of the community.
Through the exchange program, messages were delivered to
raise awareness and knowledge of drug and HIV/AIDS prevention among Youth Union
members, the youth and students, communicating the motivation of their
responsibility and role in combating social vices; calling on the young to keep
up the spirits of social vanguards and volunteers in combating drug abuses and
other social evils, actively contributing to protection of local political
security and social public order.
