The representative of Yen Thuy Association for Learning Promotion are presenting gifts to support students who are children the families under the preferential policies in Bao Hieu commune.

At the conference summarizing the implementation of the coordinated programs for learning promotion, talent promotion, building a learning society in the period of 2018 - 2021 and signing of a cooperation program for the period of 2022 - 2026, the leaders of the provincial Association for Learning Promotion and the Department of Education and Training signed a cooperation program to deploy the scholarship fund "Hoa Binh lights up the dream” for the period of 2022 - 2026. Accordingly, the two sectors would jointly promote the key roles, connecting the joint actions of the whole community to implement a program of profound meaning, promising to spread in society. 

According to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the scholarship "Hoa Binh lights up the dreams” is aimed at the students from the poor families and those with extremely difficult circumstances but they have overcome difficulties to achieve good academic achievements, such as being admitted to universities, colleges or academies; passing the entry exams with the highest scores to the high schools in the province; winning the prizes in competitions for the excellent students, the national and international science and technology innovation competitions, and the international open prizes. … This scholarship fund also gives priority to supporting the teachers and the employees who have difficult circumstances but they have the bravery and the determination to successfully complete their tasks in the educational and training sector. It is expected that the scholarships is awarded every September, the funding is from the provincial Association for Learning Promotion and the support mobilized form the agencies, units and benefactors. 

In fact, for a mountainous province with the difficult socio-economic conditions like ours, the development of the fund for learning promotion at all levels faces many challenges. The efforts overcoming difficulties, in 5 years (2016 - 2021), the Association for Learning Promotin at all levels have had many forms to many mobilize the participation to build the fund of the organizations, the businesses, the benefactors, the agencies, the units and the employees. As a result, they have mobilized 105.8 billion VND for the provincial fund for learning promotion. The fund is used in accordance with the regulations and goals. In particular, the most important and top priority content is to promote the support for the schools and the educational institutions, contributing to the development of the cause of education and training. 

By many practical and effective ways, the learning and talent promotion has empowered the students having difficult circumstances to excel in their studies. The whole political system, the organizations, the businesses and the people from all walks of life have joined hands to support the students. Many meaningful movements such as "the Godfather”, "The Drum sound to promote learning”... launched by the Association for Learning Promotion were deployed throughout the province. According to the statistics in the last 5 years, the system of the Association for Learning Promotion at all levels has mobilized over 123 billion VND, awarded 46,197 sets of scholarship and 342,376 prizes to the students with difficult circumstances to excel in learning and training. From the source of the fund for learning promotio, the Association at all levels have awarded 38,580 sét of scholarship to the poor students overcoming difficulties with the amount of 17.9 billion VND; awarded 294,779 sets of gifts to the excellent students worth 57.4 billion VND… With the scholarships and the prizes awarded, the Association for Learning Promotion at all levels have created favorable conditions for tens of thousands of poor students to continue going to school and good learning conditions. Learning and talent promotion has given strength to tens of thousands of poor students to overcome difficulties to continue going on the path of learning and conquering their dreams.
