(HBO) - In the morning of June 9, the results (phase 1) of the entrance exam to grade 10 at Hoang Van Thu High School for the Gifted in the school year of 2022 - 2023 were announced. Through this exam, Hoang Van Thu school recruited 500 new 10th grade students, which were allotted into 12 specialized classes, 1 non-specialist class in Nature, 1 non-specialized class in Foreign Languages. In 3 days (from 4-6 June), the exams were held in a safe, objective way and in compliance with regulations.


 A large number of candidates took part in the entrance exam to grade 10 at Hoang Van Thu High School for the Gifted in the school year of 2022 - 2023. 

According to the Department of Education and Training, right after the end of the exam, the Examination Council and the Matriculation Board performed the tasks of marking the exam and making a list of candidates who passed the first round. On the basis of the exam results, the Department Education and Training has determined the benchmark for admission in the first phase of 12 specialized classes, specifically: The standard score for Mathematics is 38.25 points; that specializing in Physics is 34.25 points; that specializing in Chemistry is 35.5 points; the one specializing in Biology is 32.5 points; that specializing in Informatics is 37 points; specializing in Literature is 33 points; specializing in History is 27.75 points; specializing in Geography is 31.25 points; English major is 37.5 points; specializing in French is 36.25 points; specializing in Russia is 34.75 points; specializing in Chinese is 39 points. A total of 368 candidates have passed for the first round. 

According to the announcement of Hoang Van Thu High School for the Gifted, the students whose names are on the list of successful candidates for the first round of enrollment will submit their admission documents from June 11 to 5:00 p.m. on June 16, 2022 at the school's Secretariat office. The students can directly go to the Secretariat to receive the admission notice. 

The school receives the application for a review of the entrance exam to the grade 10 from June 10 to 5:00 p.m. on June 13, 2022. The application for admission to the non-specialist classes is received from June 10 to 5:00 p.m. on June 14, 2022.
