(HBO) - Tu Ly commune (Da Bac) is an area merged between the two communes, Tu Ly and Hao Ly according to Resolution No. 830/NQ-UBTVQH14 of the National Assembly Standing Committee. The beginning stage of the new commune, along with the influence of Covid-19 pandemics has affected the socio-economic development and people's life. However, with the consensus and efforts of both the political system and the people to overcome difficulties, this place is being renewed day by day.

The system of roads in Tu Ly commune (Da Bac) has been hardened, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the locality.

Over the past time, the Party Committees and communal authorities have always focused on implementing and concreting the resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Central Government, the province and the district in accordance with the characteristics as well as arousing the local potential and strengths. The commune has been focusing on propagating and mobilizing the people so that they have a sense of responsibility for maintaining 19 criteria for new rural areas and promoting the internal resources to complete the construction of the advanced rural areas.

Mr. Dinh Hong Tuyen, the Vice Chairman of the Communal People's Committee says: Along with the guidelines and policies of the Party and State for the ethnic minority areas, the programs and projects invested in the building livelihood models, supporting plant and animal varieties, lending policies for poor and near-poor households, etc. have helped the people with the conditions for economic development and increase their income in recent years. In particular, by benefiting from the programs and projects and drawing the internal resources from each family, the essential infrastructure system of the commune has been built quite synchronously, basically meeting the development requirements.

Currently, there are 4 solidly built schools, relatively fully equipped with equipment to serve the needs of teaching and learning in Tu Ly. All of the schools have met the national standards. The system of cultural institutions has been paid attention to and invested, there are cultural houses in all of the halmets, which meets the needs of meetings and daily activities of the residential area. With the motto that the State and the people work together, the rate of hardening and concreting roads of the commune is nearly 100%, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development. "However, some roads are still narrow and do not meet the width standards. Tu Ly is a commune near the district’s center, so in the coming time the commune hopes that the commune receive investment in expanding the road corridors to ensure circulation, connecting with the neighboring areas, thereby it helps create the momentum for the local development” - the Vice Chairman of the Communal People's Committee suggested.

Along with mobilizing the resources for investment in socio-economic infrastructure, the Party committees and communal authorities have focused on leading and directing the economic restructure; focusing on transforming the structure of crops and livestock, applying the scientific and technological advances to improve production efficiency. The whole commune has made full use of the total planting area of over 800 hectares of food crops and vegetables and grown nearly 100 hectares of fruit trees. Thereby, it ensures the food security and creates the commodity products.

Mr. Dinh Vinh Khuyen from Tinh village is known by many people not only as a reputable person but he is also as an example in economic development. Mr. Khuyen says: I have mobilized my wife, my children and other households in the village to actively work in production to stabilize the lives and build a happy and prosperous family. In addition to investing in afforestation, growing rice and crops, I also invested in building livestock barns. Currently, we have 5 breeding cows, which are expected to grow to 8 by the end of this year. At the same time, we have invested in raising pigs and hundreds of laying hens, providing eggs for the market and serving the local needs.

Not only transforming the structure of agricultural production, Tu Ly has gradually developed industry, handicrafts and services in recent years. Currently, there are nearly 140 households doing service businesses in the area. There is  a paper producing factory, a wood processing workshop, a production facility for tapioca starch, concrete bricks, etc. in the commune, which has been creating jobs for more than 100 employees.

From the economic restructuring, nearly 95% of the commune's laborers have regular jobs, over 66% of them have undergone vthe ocational training. In 2021, Tu Ly's per capita income increased by 38 million VND. The commune achieved 14 out off the 19 criteria for the advanced rural development.
