(HBO) - The Steering Committee for the campaign of Covid-19 vaccination has just issued the Expedited Official Letter No. 1846/CV-BCD on speeding up the 40th phase of vaccination and the booster dose of Covid-19 vaccine (nose 3) for children aged from 12 to 17 years old.
Accordingly, in order to speed up
the progress of vaccination against Covid-19 in the province under the
direction of the Government, the Prime Minister and the Provincial Steering
Committee, and at the same time to avoid the situation that the vaccine expires
leading to the exporting need to export causing the waste, the provincial Steering
Committee for the campaign of Covid-19 vaccination suggested that the People's
Committees of the districts and the city pay attention to direct:
Continuing to accelerate the use
of vaccines allocated in batch 40 to inject 3rd and 4th doses for subjects aged
18 and over in the locality. The remaining number of Pfizer vaccines issued in
the 40th batch can be used to administer the 1st, 2nddose (if any) and 3rd dose for children aged from 12 to 17 years old
who are eligible for vaccination in the area according to the instructions in
the Official Letter No. 3181/BYT-DP, dated on June 17, 2022 of the Ministry of
Health. Specifically, using Pfizer vaccine, 0.3 ml dose, similar to the basic
dose of the elderly people from 12 years and older; the interval of at least 5
months after the last injection of the basic dose. The people who have already
suffered from Covid-19 should delay 3 months after contracting and ensure that
the distance from the last dose of the basic dose is at least 5 months.
The Steering Committee recommends
that the completion of the 40th round of vaccination be before June
26, 2022.
In localities where there is a
situation of vaccines that must be destroyed due to expiration, the local
leaders must be responsible to the Standing Provincial Party Committee and the
Provincial People's Committee.
