(HBO) – Tan Hoa ward – an outstanding model of security, order and urban civilisation made its debut at a ceremony held recently by the Hoa Binh City People's Committee.

Officials from the Ministry of Public Security, the People’s Committees of Hoa Binh province and Hoa Binh city witnessed the signing commitments to turn Tan Hoa ward into a role model of security, order and urban civilisation.

Attendees included Nguyen Van Chuong, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee and officials from the provincial Department of Public Security and local administration.

As one of the central wards of Hoa Binh city, Tan Hoa has a rapid urbanisation rate and is the place where many agencies, units, and schools are located. However, the security and order situation also poses challenges to the locality.

In order to promote the effectiveness of the "role model for security, order and urban civilisation", the municipal Division of Public Security and relevant agencies have coordinated with the People's Committee of Tan Hoa ward to maintain existing models of self-governing groups, especially the deployment of new models namely "safe residential area in terms of fire prevention and urban order" or "online public service". These are practical models, meeting the requirements of ensuring urban security and order.

Addressing the launching ceremony, Nguyen Van Chuong, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, appreciated the attention and timely direction of the Party Committee and People's Committee of Hoa Binh city, as well as the efforts of the provincial Department of Public Security and the Division of Public Security, the Party Committee and the People's Committee of Tan Hoa ward in helping the steering committee to carry out the model.

The official asked relevant agencies to strengthen communication work to raise people’s awareness about ensuring social safety and order as well as collect their opinions during the implementation to ensure its effectiveness.

On this occasion, representatives of agencies, units and residential groups in the locality also signed commitments to turn Tan Hoa ward into a role model of security and urban civilisation./.
