(HBO) - That was the direction of Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee at the meeting with Kim Boi district on education and training work in November 8. There were leaders of the Departments of Education and Training, Planning and Investment, Finance, and Home Affairs and the leaders of the District’s Party Committee, the People's Committee of Kim Boi district participating in the meeting.


Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee delivered a speech to conclude the meeting. 

Currently, in Kim Boi district there are 60 preschools, primary schools, middle schools, secondary and high schools, 7 private preschools, 17 community learning centers with a total of 987 classes and preshool groups and over 26,900 students. The whole sector has 2,061 managing officers, teachers and employees. Entering the school year of 2022 - 2023, the district's education and training sector has synchronously been deploying the solutions, clearly defining the key tasks. By the end of October 2022, the preschool education had mobilized children to go to class achieving the set plan, in which, the mobilization of 5-year-old children to go to class reached 100%. For the primary school level, there are 427 classes with 11,844 students; For the secondary school level there are 241 classes with 7,619 students. In the whole district there are 27 out of the 60 schools reaching the national standard, getting 45%. The continuing education has been focused by consolidating and developing a network of community development clubs, creating the favorable conditions for the people to participate in learning right in the village. 

The leaders of Kim Boi district have proposed and recommended a number of issues related to the assignment of the teachers a class, students a classes; requesting the Provincial People's Committee and Department of Home Affairs to assign the initiative to the District’s People's Committee to sign the teacher contracts to ensure timely progress in the school year of 2022 - 2023; recruiting and supplementing the number of teachers and staff lacking for schools; continuing to pay attention to and invest in building facilities, purchasing teaching equipment for the schools, especially the schools in the process of building the national standard schools in the period of 2021-2025. 

Making the conclusion speech the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that the district focus on 8 groups of key tasks. In particular, it is necessary to focus on reviewing and planning to ensure that the size of schools and classes is suitable for the new development stage. the effectiveness of the emulation movement of good teaching and learning at all levels has gradually been improved. It is necessary to focus on improving the quality of teachers, ensuring that the quality of education and training is under reality and stability. Innovating the educational methods associates with the comprehensive assessment of the quality of teachers and students. It is suggested paying attention to investing in mass education and improving the quality of the spearhead education. The district has been actively removing the difficulties and obstacles to improve the effectiveness of the 2018 General Education Program. There are effective solutions to mobilize resources to strengthen the facilities, investing in school equipment... 

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee asked Kim Boi district to coordinate with the relevant departments and agencies to remove difficulties and effectively implement the programs and plans related to the district's education and training sector. In particular, it is suggested advising on the immediate implementation of the recruitment of teachers, step by step ensuring the quota of teachers to meet the teaching requirements in the new situation. 

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the recommendations of Kim Boi district to the Departments of Education and Training, Home Affairs, and Finance to consider the relevant contents and submit them to the Provincial People's Committee for the settlement according to their competence and regulations.
