(HBO) – The Department of Education and Training of Hoa Binh province on November 20 held a ceremony awarding the title of "Meritorious Teacher” in the presence of Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Cuu.


To act on the State President, Vice Chairman of the Hoa Binh People's Committee Bui Van Cuu presents the title of Meritorious Teacher to seven outstanding teachers in the province.

 The province’s teachers have grown in all aspects over the past several years, with more and more excellent teachers recognised by the Party and State. They have made significant contribution to the development of the local education sector.  

 The President of Vietnam signed Decision No. 2381/QD-CTN on November 18 to award 748 teachers across the country in recognition of their contributions to the national education and training, including seven from Hoa Binh.

 They are Bui Trong Dac, Director of the provincial Department of Education and Training; Nguyen Thi Hoai from Kim Boi district; Bui Thi Lon and Tran Thi Tam from Lac Son district, Le Thi Thu Phuong, Nguyen Thi Hong Thanh and Nguyen Thi Minh Thao from Hoa Binh city.

 The province has to date 51 teachers honoured with the titles of People’s Teachers and Meritorious Teachers.

 Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Cuu congratulated the teachers on the Vietnamese Teacher’s Day (November 20) and praised their efforts and contributions to the education. He highly spoke of the quality of teachers in the province and hoped that they will continue to keep up their good works and present themselves as examples for others to look at for the development of the local education sector.
