(HBO) - Two charity houses were presented to poor households in Tien hamlet in Thung Nai commune of Cao Phong district at a ceremony on November 21.

The total donations for the building of the
houses amounted to 150 million USD (6,037 USD), sourced from the VFF chapters
in Hoa Binh province, its Cao Phong district, and the six provinces of Phu Tho,
Bac Kan, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai.
The construction of the houses began in
September last year. One of the two beneficiaries, Bui Thi Doi’s family
received 75 million VND from the funding to build their 165m2 house that costs
over 300 million VND. Meanwhile, Bui Thi Trinh's family built a house on an
area of 63m2 worth about 150 million VND, half of which was from the donated
sum.
Addressing the handover ceremony, Thuc lauded
the local front’s assistance for the needy families to build their houses,
hoping it to become a driving force for them to strive for a more stable
life./.
In late March, 29 labourers from Da Bac district were sent to work as seasonal farm workers in Buyeo county, Chungcheongnam province, the Republic of Korea (RoK).
