(HBO) - On November 25, in Hoa Binh City, the Ministry of Education and Training collaborated with the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) in Vietnam to organize a seminar "Students with a green lifestyle - green behavior”. There was the participation of the representatives from the Ministry of Education and Training, UNICEF Vietnam, the leaders of the Departments of Education and Training of Hoa Binh and Lang Son provinces and the representatives of the students from 15 provinces and cities, including Hanoi and 14 northern midland and mountainous provinces.

Over the past years, the Ministry of Education and Training has implemented many educational contents on environment, biodiversity, marine and island resources and the response to the climate change into the educational programs at all training levels in the national education system. With more than 1 million administrators, teachers, lecturers and more than 24 million pupils and students, Education sector is a powerful force in propaganda and community mobilization to raise awareness and responsibility for the environmental protection, the response to the climate change, towards the sustainable development, contributing to maintaining stability and development of the country.
At the workshop, the students presented their presentations, shared the initiatives and the implemented models on strengthening practice of green skills, green behavior, green lifestyle with suggestions and recommendations. They slso have group discussions by topic, ask questions and share information.
The workshop "Students with a green lifestyle - green behavior” aims to raise students' awareness and actions on the issues affecting their health and life, encouraging students to increase their practice of green skills, green behavior, promoting the green lifestyle. Thereby, it hepls inspire and replicate a useful green lifestyle to the community.)
