(HBO) – Through job creation support programmes, many labourers in Vu Binh commune of Lac Son district have found jobs with stable incomes, including jobs under contracts abroad.



Young labourers in Vu Binh commune are looking for job opportunities abroad at amobile employment transaction session held in late November this year.

32-year-old Quach Van Tien in Cai hamlet of Vu Binh commune has worked at a car manufacturing firm in Japan since 2018. After the three-year labour contract, he continued to apply for an extension of two more years. His contract will last until mid-2023.

According to his mother Bui Thi Men, Tien has a stable income of about 40 million VND per month.

Men said she has 4-5 relatives who are working abroad, mainly Japan.

Dozens of other families in Cai hamlet also have one or two family members who are working in Japan and Taiwan.

The salary that labourers receive when working in Japan ranges from 35-40 million VND. They have access to modern technologies. Conditions of workand occupational safety are also guaranteed.

Not only in Cai hamlet, many labourers in other hamlets were also sent to Taiwan, the Republic of Korea, and Japan for working through reputable recruitment enterprises introduced by provincial and district authorities.

Thanks to stable employments and incomes, the lives of the overseas workers and their family members back home have significantly improved.

The provincial Job ServiceCentre has coordinated with the People's Committee of Lac Son district to organise a mobile job transaction session in Vu Binh commune recently, attracting more than 200 labourers who want to look for jobs at home and abroad.

According to Vice Chairman of the communal People's Committee Bui Van Hien, in recent years, local people have been interested in labour export programmes.

In 2022, the local authority has strengthen communication activities through conferences in order to provide consultation and information related to labour export to local residents.

About 10 local labourers were sent to abroad for working in 2022, while some others are completing relevant procedures.

Working abroad bring high incomes for locals, contributing to improving the efficiency of poverty reduction scheme and implementing the new-style rural area building programme in the locality./.
