(HBO) - In recent years, the propaganda activities to disseminate and educate the morality and lifestyle in the family have been identified as one of the solutions to promote the gender equality and for the women’s advancement by the Party committees, the authorities, the departments, the branches and the mass organizations of Luong Son district


Mrs. Tran Thi Noi from Lien Son area, Luong Son town and her daughter-in-law are guiding and teaching the children. 

In Lien Son sub-area, Luong Son town, the household of Mrs. Tran Thi Noi is one of the model of the happy family. Mrs. Noi shares: My husband and I live with our son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. There are times when we do not understand each other inevitably in process of living together. However, the most important is the reconciliation role of women in the family. The family members know how to love, share and nurture so that the family atmosphere is always warm and happy. 

Also, according to Mrs. Noi, in a multi-generational family living together, the benefits is greater, increasing the emotional bond between grandparents, parents, and children. That's why sometimes they suggest that their children live separately, but sons and daughters-in-law always want to live with their parents. 

Lien Son sub-zone is also one of the areas that effectively maintain the activities of the happy family club, attracting the participation of 50 members. According to the statistics, at the grassroots facilities of the district’s Women's Union, 26 "Happy Family” and "Not having a third child” clubs have been established. Meeting in the "common house”, nthe club members exchange, share, and summarize the experiences of keeping the family’s happiness, listening to the propaganda on the topic of building a happy family and preventing domestic violence, the child sexual abuse... On the other hand, the members can meet, exchange, participate in the cultural activities, folk dance, and encourage the spirit of the members. 

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hang, the Chairwoman of the District’s Women's Union, says: With a key role in propagating the gender equality and the women’s advancement, the district’s Women's Union has implemented many practical programs and activities, specifically, coordinating with the Department of family and social affairs to organize the communication exchanges with the theme "The Peaceful Family – the Happy Society”; The Women's Unions of the communes and the town have organized the cultural exchanges to propagate the theme "Building a model of the new rural area” and "Ethical education and lifestyle in the family”, propagating on keeping the happiness in the family and prevention of violence and child abuse, seminars and talks on building a happy family. In addition, the branches and the unions organize many activities with the theme of building a happy family, moral education, lifestyle, propagating on the reproductive health care, the population quality improvement, the sex imbalance at birth, attracting the participation of a large number of officers and female members. 

The activities and contents of the moral education and the family lifestyle are integrated with the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life”. In 2022, the District People's Committee has coordinated with the Provincial Women's Union, the district’s Public Security to held a conference to propagandize the family violence and human trafficking prevention for the officers and the female members of Thanh Son and Cao Duong communes; holding a communication conference on the population and family planning work, food safety and hygiene for the women members in Luong Son town. Besides, the district organized the propagandazing activities to raise the awareness, the responsibility and the skills to protect children and prevent and combat violence and invasion harming children at all levels, sectors, social organizations, parents and children in the family on the radio systems, the websites and propagating, disseminating and educating the students about the law.
