(HBO) - The Provincial Center for Social Work and Children’s Protection Fund is currently nurturing and taking care of more than 200 social protection beneficiaries, mainly the disabled people with heavy mobility and neuropsychiatry. Living under the same roof, the disaled people in particular, the disadvantaged community in general, receive the care, sharing and love from the officials and employees working at the center and the organizations and individuals with a good and benevolent heart.


The Provincial Center for Social Work and Children's Protection Fund are organizing the cultural and sports activities to improve the health and spirit.

Being a custom, on the occasion of Vietnamese Day for the disabled people (April 18), the Provincial Center for Social Work and Children’s Protection Fund organizes the cultural, artistic and sports activities to improve the health and spirit of the disabled people, creating a friendly living environment, helping them forget their guilt and feel secure in treatment and rehabilitation, and soon integrate into the community. This year's Vietnam Disabled People Day takes place under new normal conditions with the larger-scale welcoming activities, creating a lively atmosphere. Being divided into teams to compete with each other, the disabled people can participate in appropriate sports and folk games: throwing basketball, ping-pong, throwing balsl into the basket, tug of war, sack-jumping, etc. In which, there was the participation in tug of war of the officials and staff of the center.

With the guidance and practice of center staff, the disabled peopel had a useful playground where they could participate in exciting and fun dances, impressive singing and dancing performances for each other. Mr. Duong Duc Hau, the disabled living at the center said: We find it fun and rewarding to participate in cultural, artistic and sports activities. Thereby, we thanked the center for its interest in creating a playground for the disabled, encouraging and motivating those with less fortunate fates to try, confidently integrate and rise up.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuyen, the Director of the Provincial Center for Social Work and Children’s Protection Fund, said: In addition to two-thirds of the disabled people, the center is taking care of and nurturing lonely elderly people, orphans, and children with special circumstances, the people in need of urgent protection. Over the past years, in addition to implementing the prescribed regimes and policies, the center has received the significant help from sponsors, organizations, businesses and individuals, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life for the social protection beneficiaries. Many collectives, businesses and individuals have accompanied the center to care for and assist the vulnerable people. The typical examples in the movement to help the disabled people are the individuals in Hoa Binh city: Ms. La Thi Hien from Ngoc residential group 2, Trung Minh ward; Ms. Tran Thi Duc, the owner of Anh Duong petrol station, Du Doi hamlet, Mong Hoa commune; Ms. Dinh Thi Bich Lien, Group 3, Dan Chu Ward; the enterprises and the units: Lam Binh Investment Construction and Trading joint Stock Company, Tien An Investment and Construction Company Limited, Dinh Nhuan Trading joint Stock Company, CoAsia CM Vina Co., Ltd.

Along with the practical support from the community, the management, nurturing and care of these subjects are ensured. The Center always creates an equal and friendly living environment for them to integrate and forget the guilt. Those who are healthy are allowed to participate in the productive labor, farming, and animal husbandry to improve their daily meals. The center also maintains the vocational training in hand processing, bamboo and rattan knitting for them. For the orphans and children with special circumstances, they are given good education, some of them have been trying to become good students at the school’s and city’s level.
