(HBO) - On June 23, the Department of Education and Training held an online conference on the education and training sector in the second quarter of 2023. In the second quarter, the Department of Education and Training continued to urge the units and schools to strictly implement the teaching and learning plan according to the time frame of the school year of 2022 - 2023; they have been hosting the practical and meaningful activities; directing the professional work, in which the innnovative education and training programs, and the campaigns and emulation movements have been focussed on.

In the second quarter, the Department of Education and Training continued to urge the units and schools to strictly implement the teaching and learning plan according to the time frame of the school year of 2022 - 2023; they have been hosting the practical and meaningful activities; directing the professional work, in which the innnovative education and training programs, and the campaigns and emulation movements have been focussed on. 

The sector has also been actively participating in the activities organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the departments, the appropriate authorities and the localities. In which, they have participated in the online contest to learn about Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style in 2023 and won the first prize; they have coordinated in directing the organization of the trade union at the grassroot level to successfully organize the XIII congress of the Trade Union of Hoa Binh education.

As for implementing the teaching and learning activities, the whole sector has achieved the outstanding results: Participating in the national competition for the excellent high school students in the school year of 2022 - 2023, winning 28 prizes; competing in the national contest for science and technology and won 1 second prize and 1 prospect prize; organizing the exams and the contests with high results; The units and the schools have organized the exam for the second semester, summarizing the school year, considering completing the primary education program, considering the recognition of secondary school graduation in the school year of 2022 - 2023 and handing over the students to take part in the summer activities in the locality ensuring the set plan. In the province, there have been 309 out of 519 schools meeting the national standards; the whole province has reached the standard of preschool education universalization for 5-year-old children, level 2 literacy standard, and level 3 primary education standard; 9 out of the 10 districts and the city have met the standards of lower secondary education at level 3; 67 out of the 129 communes have met criterion No. 5 in terms of schools; 128 out of the 129 communes have reached criterion 14 on education…

At the conference, the delegates have agreed on the assessment: The Education and Training sector has achieved many outstanding results in implementing the tasks in the second quarter of 2023. The leaders of the Department of Education and Training have deployed the direction and tasks of the third quarter of 2023 with 13 key contents. In particular, they continue implementing the resolutions and directives of the Party, the laws of the State, and the directive documents of higher authorities in the field of education and training. They continue preparing the conditions for implementing the General Education Program in 2018 for the academic year of 2023 - 2024. They continue maintaining, consolidating and improving the results of education prevention and eradication of illiteracy. Focus on improving the quality of the teachers and educational administrators… In the immediate future, the important task is determined be the high school graduation exam in 2023; well performing the enrollment of the first grades and preparing the conditions for the new school year of 2023 - 2024.
