(HBO) - According to the results of the high school graduation exam in 2023, which has just been announced, Hoa Binh province has a total of 9,377 candidates. The result is as followed: there were 9,312 candidates passing the graduation exa, reaching the rate of 99.31%. Our province ranks 41st out of 63 provinces and cities.

At the graduation exam, there were 59 educational units having the candidates in the whole province, of which, there were 30 units with a graduation rate of 100%. The educational units with the most outstanding exam results are Hoang Van Thu High School for the Gifted; the Provincial Boarding High School for the Ethnic Minorities; Tan Lac High School; Kim Boi High School...

Across the province, the average score of the candidates in the exam was 6.33 points. In which, 4 out of the 9 subjects had the average scores that was higher than the national average score, including: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Geography. Civic education is the subject with the highest average score with 8.26 points.

Notably, there were 190 tests with 10 points, with the most focus on Civic Education. The schools having the most 10 points are Hoang Van Thu High School for the Gifted (19 points 10); Lac Son High School (11); Dai Dong High School (13); Cu Chinh Lan High School (11); Quyet Thang High School (10). In particular, there were 2 candidates (Kim Boi High School, Tan Lac High School) excellently achieving 2 points of 10 in History and Civic Education.

According to the guidance of the Department of Education and Training, after knowing the test scores, the candidates can base on the score spectrum of each subject and each exam block to consider adjusting their admission requirements, increasing their chances of getting into universities and colleges.
