The second child of her family, Khanh is studious, taking an active part in various competitions. Over the past two school years, she made outstanding academic performance. Thanks to the support of other family members, Khanh also won prizes in many painting and singing contests, and was honoured as an outstanding ethnic minority student in Hoa Binh city this year.

Notably, the girl brought home a gold medal in piano solo at the Asia-Pacific Arts Festival (APAF) in Bangkok last June. The festival aimed to promote harmony, peace and friendship through understanding about culture, language, tradition and custom.

After returning home, she continued to join the Vietnam International Junior Fashion Week 2023 in Hanoi, where she showed off designs reflecting the unique culture of Hoa Binh province.

Khanh said she wants to introduce the Muong culture as well as cultural values of her homeland to both domestic and foreign friends.
