(HBO) - Promoting the patriotic tradition and good virtues of Vietnamese women, Hoa Binh women have been building the image of women in the new era who are dynamic, creative and responsible for their families and society, becoming an important human resource in the socio-economic development of the locality.

Implementing the resolution of the 13th National Women's Congress for the 2022 – 2027 tenure, the Standing Board of the provincial Women's Union issued an action plan on the implementation of the emulation movement "Building Vietnamese women in the new era" for the 2022 – 2027 tenure with four criteria, namely knowledge, morality, health and responsibility to themselves, their families, the society and the country, according to Hoang Thi Duyen, Chairwoman of the provincial Women's Union.

The chapters of the women’s union at all levels have carried out the movement in combination with other campaigns and emulation movements of localities and units by appropriate forms. The initial results of the emulation movement in recent years have served as a motivation for the chapters to devise creative and flexible solutions in meeting the criteria of the emulation movement to women members.

From 2021 - 2023, the chapters of the Women's Union's in the province have launched many emulation movements, aiming to help Vietnamese women in general and Hoa Binh women in particular to meet the requirements of sustainable development and international integration; cultivating moral qualities of "confidence, self-respect, faithfulness, resourcefulness" and further promote the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and lifestyle which brings about practical effects.

The chapters of the Women's Union in the province have organised 5,040 dissemination campaigns on the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and the union's activities; 438 seminars, contests and training conferences as well as carried out 397 projects, contributing to the construction of new rural areas and civilised cities. A total of 1,256 households have been recognised as meeting eight criteria of the campaign on building "5 no, 3 clean" family while 675 new models in all fields have been established. Up to 201 saving models have been expanded with the participation of 8,037 members which supports the purchase of 14,041 health insurance cards and assists 1,599 households escape poverty. A total of 121 women have been assisted to start up shop.
 
They introduced 490 outstanding members to the Party for admission, of which, 283 members were admitted to the Party. The Women’s Union's chapters at all levels have sponsored 223 orphans due to the COVID-19 pandemic and other causes. In 2022, the provincial Women's Union was awarded a third-class Independence Order by the Party and State.

The implementation of the emulation movement "Building Vietnamese women in the new era" in association with real conditions of each locality has contributed to build the image of Hoa Binh women and Vietnamese women meeting the requirements of the new era; promote cultural and human values as well as boosting rapid and sustainable development of the homeland.
