(HBO) - Celebrating the major holidays of the year, the Youth Communist branch of Kho hamlet, Chi Dao commune (Lac Son) has mobilized the members and the young people to take on the tasks of cleaning the village roads and alleys; collecting domestic waste, building green - clean - beautiful environment. 


The members of the Youth Communist Union and the youth of Chi Dao commune (Lac Son) have been participating in volunteering activities to clean up and build the roads leading to the grave of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Be Tren hamlet.

In particular, in a series of the activities celebrating this year's War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the hamlet’s Youth Communist Union has mobilized the youth members to contribute the working day to participate in repairing and upgrading the houses for 4 households under the preferential policies; Actively coordinating with the neighbors and unions to visit, encourage, and give t5he meaningful gifts to the families under the preferential policies.

Mr. Bui Van Nhat, the Secretary of the Youth Communist Union in Kho hamlet says: With the practical and meaningful work, the volunteering activities for the community life have attracted the participation of a large number of the youth members. The activities deployed by the Youth Communist Union are aimed at the poor households and the families under the preferential policies... The volunteering activities have created motivation to help the people in difficult circumstances rise up, and at the same time they spread the positive values in the community.

Chi Dao commune has over 500 youth members, of which 134 members are in 7 branches. Right from the beginning of the year, the Communal Standing Committee of the Youth Communist Union has proactively developed the specific plans to implement programs and activities to promote the spirit of initiative and volunteerism of the youth. They have focused on the grassroots activities, contributing to ensuring the social security. In which, they have been actively responding to the movements "The youth joining hands to build new rural areas and civilized cities”, the campaign "All people unite to build the cultural life in residential areas”... To contribute to implementing the goal Criterion No. 17 on the environment in the new rural construction, the Youth Communist branches have built the incinerators to collect and treat the living waste. They have been joining with the hamlets in carrying out "The Environment Day” on the 12th and 25th of every month to clean the village roads, alleys, cultural houses, public places; building the environmental landscapes...

Responding to the movement "Gratitude is the sign of noble souls”, the Communal Youth Communist Union has built a plan and advised the Party Committee and the authorities to integrate the activities on the holidays and Lunar New Year. Accordingly, they have coordinated with the appropriate sectors and organization to call for the socialization resources to present gifts and support t5he poor households in the area. They have been mobilizing the working days to repair houses and clean up to help the families under the preferential policies.

Along with the volunteering activities for the community life, the youth of Chi Dao commune has implemented a campaign to mobilize the youth to build ideas of "Creative start-up”. They have oriented so that the Youth Communist branches establish the youth start-up groups to share the experience for the economic development, and at the same time they can support and help each other to develop. Taking the advantages of the locality as the "capital” of Doi tree, many young people have applied the scientific advances and techniques in planting and taking care to improve the yield and quality of the crops. Currently, there are many typical members doing good economic business in the whole commune. They are Bui Van Manh, Bui Van Diu, Bui Van Vong... with an income of over 150 million VND a year. Accompanying the young people in the movement of "establishing themselves, establishing a business”, the Communal Youth Communist Union has effectively deployed the entrusted capital from the district’s Social Policy Bank with a total outstanding loan of 2.7 billion VND.

Mr. Bui Van Liem, the Secretary of the Youth Communist Union of Chi Dao Commune says: Determining the roles and responsibilities of the young generation in the activities for the community life, the Communal Youth Communist Union continue developing the plans and effectively implementing these activities for each Youth Communist branch. They have undertaken and performed the tasks of the youth in the emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Central and local governments. The have been maintaining the activities of "Gratitude is the sign of noble souls”, "When drinking water, remember the source”, paying attention to the families under the preferential policies belonging to the poor households and extremely difficult circumstances. They have been mobilizing the socialization resources to build useful playgrounds for the children in the area. They have been bold and creative with the start-up models to increase income, contributing to creating stable jobs for the people in the area, thereby, they have been contributing to the local socio-economic development.
